The Impact of Giving

Fellowship Square prides itself on creating warm and welcoming living environments at each Fellowship House. We take great care to meet residents’ needs – to listen to them, empower them, and appreciate them in a way that gives them peace of mind about their home and their community.

While Fellowship Square properties are operationally supported through rental income subsidies from the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), all other funds used for resident services must be raised through our fundraising efforts.

We rely on donations from individuals, businesses and houses of worship; corporate sponsorships for events and programs; foundation grants and planned giving to sustain our organization and provide the funds needed to ensure a robust menu of supportive services for residents.

Please take a moment right now to make the most generous tax-deductible contribution to support the work we do – and see our mission in action in this short video.

In a recent survey by the Commonwealth Fund, they noted that older adults face an uphill battle to afford the healthcare they need. Fellowship Square recognizes this cost burden on our seniors and knows that with the right interventions and supportive services, we can help keep seniors out of the hospital and living independently a little longer. But only if we can count on you to make a financial contribution to the work that we do.

It’s no secret that housing affordability is a crisis nationwide – and we’re seeing a sharp rise in homelessness among adults 55 and older. Fellowship Square is working to do what we can to build more housing and provide a comfortable and dignified place that anyone would be proud to call home. But our efforts to develop the next affordable Fellowship House relies on dependable generosity from the community.

It’s time to think about year-end giving. I hope I can count on you to make an end-of-year donation to Fellowship Square. Thank you.

In gratitude,

Christy Zeitz
CEO
